Welcome to Juniper Jigsaw! We create eco-friendly, nature-inspired puzzles designed to bring joy while being gentle on the planet. By using our website or purchasing our products, you agree to the following Terms of Service (“Terms”).

If you don’t agree with these Terms, please don’t use our website or services.  We reserve the right to change these Terms of Service.  

1. Use of Our Website

You agree to use our website for lawful purposes only. You may not:

• Use our content without permission

• Attempt to disrupt or damage our website

• Misrepresent your identity

• Use our products or content for unlawful or harmful purposes

• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for violations of these Terms.

2. Product Safety & Intended Use

Your safety matters to us.

• Our puzzles are intended for recreational use only. 

• Per CPSC- Small pieces may present a choking hazard. Not suitable for children under 3 years.

• Adult supervision is recommended for children under 13.

• Please use products as intended. We are not responsible for misuse, alterations, or modifications of our products.

3. Sustainability & Environmental Claims

We are committed to making environmentally responsible choices. Our sustainability statements reflect our genuine efforts to reduce environmental impact.

However:

• Sustainability claims are based on information available from our suppliers and manufacturing partners at the time of production.

• “Eco-friendly,” “sustainable,” or similar descriptions reflect comparative environmental improvements — not perfection.

• Availability of materials may change over time, and product specifications may be updated accordingly.

We strive for transparency and continuous improvement, but we cannot guarantee that our products are 100% environmentally impact-free.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on our website — including images, artwork, puzzle designs, website material, social media posts,  product names, logos, text, and photography — is the property of  Juniper Jigsaw  or used with permission.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify our designs or content including name, logo, images, designs.  This is whether trademark, trademark pending or otherwise.

• Create derivative works

• Use our artwork or photography for commercial purposes

• You may not duplicate, recreate or resell any of our site materials/images

Purchase of a puzzle does not transfer copyright or intellectual property rights.

If you believe your intellectual property has been used improperly, please contact us.

5. Pre-Orders

From time to time, we may offer products for pre-order.

By placing a pre-order:

• You authorize us to charge your payment method at the time of purchase (or as clearly stated at checkout).

• Estimated shipping dates are approximate and may change due to production or supply chain factors.

• We are not liable for delays beyond our reasonable control.

• You may cancel a pre-order for a full refund prior to shipment unless otherwise stated.

•  We hold the right to make modifications, changes and discontinuations without prior notice. 

If timelines change significantly, we will notify you via email.

6. Pricing & Payments

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time.

We are not responsible for:

• Bank fees, 3rd party processing fees which are determined, assessed at time of purchase. Juniper Jigsaw does not control, set or retain these fees.

• Currency conversion fees

• Payment processor delays

Orders may be canceled if payment cannot be processed.

7. Shipping, Returns & Refunds

Please refer to our separate Return Policy for detailed information on returns, exchanges, and refunds.

We reserve the right to refuse returns that show signs of misuse or damage not caused by manufacturing defects.

We currently are only shipping to US locations. 

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Our products and website are provided “as is.”

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website.

• Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product in question.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9.  Cyber Security and Regulatory Compliance

Cyber-security are services that reside outside the scope of the services we provide. Our hosting site is PCI compliant for financial safety and security. 

We can encourage best practices, but we make no guarantee of protection from all cyber-security incidents. 

10 . Power of Agency 

You authorize Juniper Jigsaw to act as its agent for the limited purpose of procuring services, equipment, software, licenses, and vendor agreements as reasonably necessary to provide our product. Juniper Jigsaw shall not be responsible for the performance, terms, or obligations of any third-party provider.

11. Contributions to Company Websites and Social Media Sites 

Juniper Jigsaw provides education material and opportunities to contribute feedback to our website, puzzle designs, social media spaces.  When you submit ideas, documents, suggestions, corrections, proposals- “Contributions”  to our sites, you acknowledge and agree that: 

•  Your contributions do not contain any confidential or proprietary information.

•  Juniper Jigsaw will not be liable or under any obligation to maintain confidentiality.

•  Juniper Jigsaw shall be entitled to use, correct or disclose any contributions in a manner we see fit and contributions will automatically become the sole property of Juniper Jigsaw.

• Juniper Jigsaw is under no obligation to compensate to provide reimbursement in any manner for said contributions. 

12. Code of Conduct

 You will not allow any kind of unprofessional behavior, harassment, discrimination, physical or verbal abuse of Juniper Jigsaw staff or contractors. You will encourage respectful behavior and take the appropriate measures necessary to correct and/or consequence their staff in the event they demonstrate any of the inappropriate behaviors described above. Juniper Jigsaw reserves the right to terminate this contract with cause should any of the above-mentioned behaviors or abuses be exhibited or continue to be exhibited without corrective steps being made by you.

Either Juniper Jigsaw or our third-party hosting parties may provide links to other websites and/or resources.  Thus, you acknowledge that we are not responsible for the availability of other such external sites or resources, and as such we do not endorse, nor are we responsible for third party sites and resources. 

Furthermore, you acknowledge and agree that Juniper Jigsaw shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any such damages, or loss which may be result of, caused by or alleged to be caused in connection to the use or reliance on outside content, goods, information or service via such sites and resources. 

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Juniper Jigsaw, its owners, partners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your misuse of our products

• Your violation of these Terms

• Your infringement of intellectual property rights

15. Arbitration & Dispute Resolution

We hope to resolve any concerns quickly and fairly.

If a dispute arises:

1. Please contact us first at hello@juniperjigsaw.com  so we can attempt informal resolution.

2. If we cannot resolve the issue within 30 days, the dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration, rather than in court, except for small claims matters.

Arbitration will:

• Be conducted in Texas

• Be governed by the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA)

• Be conducted on an individual basis (no class actions)

By agreeing to these Terms, you waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit or jury trial.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas without regard to conflict of law principles.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on our website with a new effective date.

Your continued use of our website after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
